Resumo: (VOLUNTEERING TEAMS)

The project is structured in a network action thought the southern part of Italy, which
would interest several different communities.
Events, campaigns, meetings, workshops, work-camps, festivals would be the main activities. Health, well-being, healthy lifestyles, civic participation, will be promoted as means
to achieve the main objectives. In total, will be hosted 32 volunteers, divided in groups of 16. The project will last 40 days.

AIMS
The project is structured in a network action thought the southern part of Italy, which would interest several different communities.
Events, campaigns, meetings, workshops, work-camps, festivals would be the main activities. Health, well-being, healthy lifestyles, civic participation, will be promoted as means to achieve the main objectives.
In total, will be hosted 32 volunteers, divided in groups of 16. The project will last 40 days. to contribute to the improvement of health and well-being of vulnerable people, by promoting healthy, eco-friendly, and positive lifestyles. to help building inclusive communities by supporting vulnerable groups impacted from ongoing crises. to raise awareness about prevention through campaigns, promotion and public discussions to improve the general and mental health of the populations.

Tarefas: The activitites of the project will have the following structure:

Sicily: connecting with the local reality trough the creation and partecipation of events connected with healthy lifestyles, well-being, mental health and the power of the nature. Moreover there will be a somministration of some questionnaire to the local community to tackle and map the understanding of the community about those topics.
The activities will involve the 16 volunteers at the moment of their staying and the local community,

Calabria: preparation and implementation of a big festival called No borders Festival. During the preparation of the
festival, the volunteers together with the organizers will have labs about music, theatre, dance, body movements, graffiti to be represented during the festival itself.

The project will have a huge impact on:
- Young volunteers who, thanks to activities based on non-formal education, will be able to develop new competences and soft skills useful for their personal, social and professional development.
- Local communities of different Sicilian and Calabrian cities and villages, who will benefit from the solidarity action of volunteers engaged in the project aims.
- Organisations involved in the project and the Sicilian and Calabrian economic-tourist fabric, which will benefit from greater visibility at regional national and European level.

Horário: Generally, activities will take place 5 days per week and at least 6 hours a day.
The volunteer is entitled to 2 days off per week and three vacation days during the staying which for logistical reasons will be fixed in
advanced.

Condições: TRAVEL
Participants will get reimbursement by their own Supporting Organization according to the distance calculator
from 100 to 499 km from the departure point to Mussomeli: up to €180
from 500 to 1999 km from the departure point to Mussomeli up to €275
from 2000 to 2999 km from the departure point to Mussomeli: up to €360
In case of GREEN TRAVEL (bus, train or carpooling) the caps above are higher. To be recognised as such, at least half of the distance has to be covered by green means of transportation. If you decide to travel green please get in contact with us first.

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD
The accommodation is provided by the facilities that will host volunteers during the all duration of the project.
Participants will receive a pocket food in order to provide the meals by themselves. The facilities will have the kitchen to prepare the meals.

ALLOWANCE
Participants will receive a pocket money of 6 euro per day for 42 days.

INSURANCE
Once selected, the volunteer will be automatically enrolled by Henner insurance, which will be complementary to the European Health Insurance Card
