Resumo: The foundation aims to protect cultural heritage through recording endangered practices, skills and knowledge by prioritising co-production of Galician history, supporting maintenance and development of privately owned heritage houses with the support of inter-regional cooperation and active participation of young people and volunteers.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for cultural heritage, coupled with a genuine commitment to its preservation and promotion.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effectively engaging with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in managing social media platforms, with the ability to foster online community engagement.
- Competence in graphic design, enabling the creation of visually compelling materials to support our initiatives.
- Prior experience in non-formal education, cultural heritage, or related fields is advantageous.
- Basic proficiency in Spanish (not obligatory)
Tarefas: • Cultural Heritage Trainings: Assist in organising non-formal training sessions to raising awareness of young people (ages 15- 30) about the significance of cultural heritage. Help facilitate engaging discussions and activities to increase awareness and knowledge among participants.
• Educational Games: Collaborate in the development and implementation of educational games designed to educate children (ages 7-15) about cultural heritage. Participate in organising and leading game sessions
• Guided Visits to Foundation Assets: Support monthly guided visits to Pazo de Illobre, providing information about the history of the house and showcasing its facilities and surroundings to visitors.
• Awareness Raising on Cultural Heritages: Contribute to our awareness-raising campaign on cultural heritage by assisting in content development for our website, managing social media campaigns, and engaging in face-to-face interactions with young people
• Organic Farming: Engage in daily farming activities like planting, weeding, harvesting, and processing various crops to learn and experience about crop rotation, permaculture, and sustainable soil management.
• Other Standard Activities: Assist in various other activities of the foundation, including youth information sessions, volunteer meet-ups, living language clubs (LLC), the Entre-you initiative, and sustainable rural development trainings.
