Resumo: (Volunteering Teams project)
The hosting organization is a nonprofit organisation established in January 2013 in Croatia. We promote sustainable development and our activities focus on children and young people (up to the age of 35) as bearers of the sustainable future. Our target groups also include youth workers from all over Europe. The organization has three departments: personal development, ecology and environment protection, and social entrepreneurship.

Our values are togetherness (being mindful for the feelings and needs of other people and living beings), balance (acting in harmony between the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of life), responsibility (proactive, disciplined and adequate action in different circumstances), and spirituality (searching for the meaning of life, getting to know oneself and looking for imperishable values). Our vision is to create role models of a sustainable society and our mission is to encourage the holistic development of youth as architects of the future.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
who would like to do gardening, clean needed local areas and return them to their natural habitat, organize workshops and hold Garden festivals and are eager to participate in a vegetarian challenge on the project Green Fingers.

We are looking for honestly motivated, proactive volunteers who want to learn about natural gardening in practice, organise Garden festivals and workshops, and clean the local environment, who are not afraid of physical work outside, insects, getting dirty or wet etc. No prior experience is required. This project is for you if you are interested in some of the following subjects: environment, sustainability, vegetarianism, veganism, healthy diet and lifestyles in general, and volunteering. Tarefas: The project will bring together ten volunteers working as a volunteering team and engage them in maintaining urban school gardens in partner primary schools (the aim to learn and teach about natural gardening and ecology), organizing Garden festivals, and environmental actions - cleaning needed local and school areas. Volunteers will promote topics such as environmental protection and the promotion of volunteering.

Condições: Volunteers will be accommodated in a local hostel in shared rooms with other volunteers, shared bathrooms and a kitchen. Volunteers will be provided with vegetarian/vegan food for lunch to promote vegetarianism (by taking part in the vegetarian or vegan challenge).
The hosting organisation will cover the costs of travel, accommodation, food, local transportation and activities.
The travel costs of participants will be covered up to the maximum travel costs for a country according to the European Solidarity Corps rules.
