Resumo: The hosting organization is a research and outreach facility, that advocate the knowledge of marine life in Danish waters. At the facility, we have daily training and research of our three porpoises and three harbor seals. Our animals are located in the bay of Kerteminde, meaning their pool areas are located in the ocean. We work closely together with the Marine Biological Research Center located next to the hosting organizationl. Here there are three male grey seals and one river otter.

The trainer team consists of 4 trainers and one zookeeper student. Besides the trainers, we also have interns, both Danish and international speaking, meaning our daily communication is in English. In order to show our interns the Danish culture, we also make an effort to arrange social gatherings outside of work.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Interested in practical work

Tarefas: Your main tasks will be to assist in the daily care and research of our marine mammal collection, which will include the daily cleaning of all animal areas and assisting in the many daily training and research sessions.

Furthermore, since the animals need to be taken care of all year-round, the working hours will also be during weekends and holidays.
Lastly, we often need to pick up fish or drive to the vet with blood samples, therefore, it is preferred that you have a driver’s license.
