Resumo: The hosting organization presents and promotes contemporary Jewish culture from Israel and the entire Diaspora. By doing so, we aim to eliminate anti-Semitism and to create a friendly and welcoming environment for the growing Jewish community. To achieve these aims, the organization organizes annual Jewish Culture Festival, all year round programs at the Cheder as well as by developing and promoting ideas of voluntary work as a part of the program called The Machers.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We are looking for an outgoing and open-minded person, willing to work in a diverse team.
The main goal of the program is to educate about the Jewish culture in Poland and we are looking for someone open to such experience.
Moreover, as it is a long-term project, we are looking for someone who has not previously participated in a similar mobility through the European Solidarity Corps.

Tarefas: We are currently looking for the volunteers for our long-term project for the Jewish Culture Festival. The project duration is ~4 months (from April till July), and will encompass the preparation, production, and implementation of the activities of the Jewish Culture Festival, which this year takes place between 23.06 and 30.06.
The program is a great opportunity to see and experience how a big and long-standing artistic festival is run behind the scenes and how to transfer this kind of activities to one's own local environment.

Condições: As a part of the European Solidarity Corps program, we are covering the costs of travel, accomodation, food and pocket money, as well as insurance. For the accomodation you will be sharing a flat with single-person rooms with other volunteer.
The flat is located near the centre, in close vicinity to the Festival's office.
