Resumo: The hosting organization was born in 1993 as Social Psycho-Pedagogical Center for people with disabilities and exclusion issues. The idea comes from the contact of a young teacher with problematic teenagers (hardship, marginalization and delinquency). Starting its journey of growth and experience, the association organises seminars and training courses for teachers in collaboration with other teachers and lecturers from prestigious foundations and universities.

The organization obtained the accreditation with the Regional Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Vocational Training, activating several courses of Vocational Training like Operators handicapped workers, Processing of Ceramic Handicap The orientation of the curriculum and the profession and The internationalization of the production system."

Today the organization has a strong experience, the result of strong professional identity and unity of all the staff in that time has succeeded, being able to adapt to different situations and changing. It has always operated in social work foregrounding the knowledge, the experience of everyday life, in order to remove obstacles and thus strengthen and consolidate the various cognitive processes and training.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Available for WHOLE duration of the project

* Ready to live in an ISOLATED SMALL village
* Willing to live inside the hostel with LITTLE OR NO internet connection
* Ready to share the spaces, and food with guests and staff
* Strong motivation to work with children
* Outdoors lover
* Has previous experiences in the socio-educational context
* Has past volunteer work * Has a strong respect of the rules, patient and creative
* Ready to take responsibility and reliable in a crisis
* Ready to learn Italian or already knows it.

Tarefas: - Support of the educators in carrying out of the following activities:
- Afterschool activities (homework, lessons of the foreign language, workshops)
- Clown-recreational workshops: cooking, theatre and music, art-attack
- Linguistic workshop in the mother tongue of the volunteers
- Organization of festivities events: carnivals, Christmas, Easter, etc
- Management of daily life in the community or in the halfway house: preparation of food, cleaning of the rooms and common areas, personal cleaning of children
- Accompaniment of users to doctors, hospitals, gyms, swimming pools, trips, sea, etc

Horário: Volunteers will work 5 days per week, for maximum of 36 working hours per week. They will have 2 consecutive days off. Volunteers will get 2 additional free days per month. The days off cannot overlap with the days of other volunteers (meaning that the volunteers will not be able to take the days off together) and will not be the weekends.

Condições: - Accommodation Volunteers will share a flat, with DOUBLE bedrooms, a kitchen, and 2 rooms.
- Pocket money of 5 euros per day will be provided plus 90 euro for a month for covering the food expenses.
