Resumo: The hosting organization is the central institution for environmental education in the UNESCO-biosphere reserve Bliesgau. The mission statement of the establishment is the education for sustainable developement. Primary focus of our educational work is the provision of project weeks for school classes and youth groups to a varity of different environmental education topics. In addition, Spohns Haus serves as a meeting place for european school and youth exchanges close to the French-German border, especially with young people from Poland, France and Ukraine.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: Our volunteers are supporting the pedagogical specialist department in the implementation of our program offerings, as well as the preparation and follow up of european projects. Furthermore the volunteers support the specialist department of management in planing of projects and european encountering measures. In addition insights and cooperation in all further processes of the institution are offered.

Condições: Volunteers receive a pocket money of € 5.00 per day, which is paid monthly. In addition, there are the respective rates of the ESC and the position of the accommodation on the part of the institution. Furthermore, the institution organises the participation in a language course to improve the german language skills.
