Resumo: (volunteering teams project)
The hosting organization represents an artistic-social movement of reference that facilitates the generation of collective artistic initiatives that encourage sustainable social development in the territory.
-VALUES are: Respect, Reciprocity, Equity, Empathy, Cooperation, Gratitude and Creativity.
-MISSION: to generate artistic-social projects that promote collective social interaction through: Social Festivals; Laboratories of Creation; Audiovisual materials; Collective creations for social and territorial transformation; Community dance and art projects; Community art markets; Specific studies: study and diagnosis of specific needs of the neighborhood to implement collective artistic initiatives that encourage sustainable social development in the territory; Artistic training.
-OBJECTIVES:
A. To give structure to a project created by the Neighborhood and for the Neighborhood, City and the World.
B. To use Dance, Body and the Arts as a means of creation and pretext to encourage cohesion and socio-cultural inclusion;
C. Encourage and promote structures, activities, individual and collective training that promotes: volunteering and self-organization; pro-activity and pro-creativity of people and the socio-cultural environment; creation of horizontal organizational structures, based on cooperation, trust and participation; people as cultural beings, valuing cultural and artistic heritage, both individual and collective;
D. Promote the creation, training and development of community artists.
A project directed to young people that aims to include 10 young European volunteers in a platform that generates
artistic-social projects that promote the collective social interaction through art as a common good.
Throughout this experience, the young volunteer will support more specifically the cultural management and production of the initiatives: Social Festival; Community Art Projects with locals; community residencies with
international artists; trainings on cultural management.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
- Proactive and humble;
- Know how to work alone and in group;
- Be on time, not afraid of a long working day
- Open to challenge, wanting to learn from and with others;
- Ready to act fast and precise according to the instruction provided;
- Not afraid of making mistakes or not knowing once and learning from that;
- Able to listen and accept differences;
- Connected with dance, performance and community art projects;
- Like to know people in an international community.
- Ready to help;
- Positive and transparent attitude;
- Willing to take responsibility;
- Find solutions, do a lot with 0 euros;
- Pay attention to the details;
- Do not stop at half work, finalize until the end (and a bit more)
- Experience in volunteering
- Basic knowledge of Spanish and English.
- Ready to experience different things (Yoga, Creation, Permaculture, Dragon dreaming, etc.)
- Able to follow the organization's ethical code
Tarefas: MAIN ACTIVITIES:
- Social Festival;
- Community Dance and Art Projects.
- Creation Laboratories;
- Social Community Art Market;
GENERAL TASKS:
- Support for the organization and weekly cleaning of the space;
- Monitoring of weekly tasks; Weekly evaluation form;
- Daily form of gratitude;
- Weekly team meeting;
- Blog;
- Dissemination and publicity of its activity in the RSS (daily instastories);
- Get to know team and neighbourhood members;
- Attend theoretical and physical training;
- Training and group cohesion activities to empower the community and individuals surround (community arts projects, permaculture activities, etc.)
- Organization of talks and meetings to disseminate their volunteer experience;
Activities before the festival:
1) Gain confidence with the teams;
2) Support for planning social and inclusive activities.
3) Support for the development of creative materials ( videos,fotos, reels ) and Merchandising for the social festival;
4) Support the conduct of inventory and merchandising preparation;
5) Support for advocacy;
6) To participate and support creation in art projects in the community;
7) Support the streaming of the festival;
Activities during the festival:
1) Support team integration activities;
2) Micro-coordination: there is a coordinator, but TUDANZASbelieves that each section and volunteer has to be responsible forthe activities by themselves;
3) Support for the welfare of the artists and persons participatingin the festival;
4) Ensuring cleanliness of spaces;
5) Participate in the festival experience: art projects andworkshops.
6) Support the recording of videos and photos;
7) Support the construction of a streaming / online festival;
8) Support for advocacy;
9) Support for Merchandising;
10) Support for the Bar;
11) Support for space logistics;
12) Materials and equipment support;
13) Support for the collection and storage of technical equipment
14) Support for the assembly and dismantling of technicalequipment;
15) Support in the accounting of daily income.
Activities after the festival:
1) Support in the inventory and storage of merchandising;
2) Supports accounting tasks;
3) Support with disassembly of equipment and material;
4) Support for the organization of multimedia materials for theFestival;
5) Support for monitoring social and integration activities
Condições: Pocket money and food money or food is provided.
Accommodation: The volunteer will sleep in share room in hotel.
Travel money: travel expenses will be covered up to a
maximum of 275 € after the end of al duties of the activity.
