Resumo: (Volunteering in youth shelter with minors)
The hosting organization founded in 1985 and as the main aim has a creation of a positive change in lives of minors and their families that, by culture or condition, are compromised. The development of solidarity, tolerance and mutual understanding are the goals that the organization have always pursued. The team has professionals such as educators, psychologists, tutors and in-house coordinators and each of them is ready to share fundamental aspects of working in social work with ESC volunteer.
The center takes care of minors from 12 to 18 years old, who are temporary moved away from their families due to different conditions (social, economic, etc). The goal is to be able to work in a team, develop organizational, problem solving, and connection skills, integration of different points of view, and transparent communication.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Motivated to learn Italian and to communicate with locals; ready to work with minors of the age group 12-18 of Italian and international background; have educational background - socio-pedagogical, psycho-pedagogical, social work, etc; patient, kind, polite, tolerant, able to listen actively and willing to work in team. Good knowledge of English, basic Italian is a big plus. We expect your CV and Motivation to be in ENGLISH!

Condições: You will share a flat in the same building of the youth shelter, with a SINGLE rooms, bathroom, and an eat-in kitchen shared with the guests.
Food will be provided 3 times per day by the hosting organisation. Pocket money of 5 euros per day will be provided monthly as well as the transport card.
The travel expenses will be refunded on the basis defined by the European Commission.
