Resumo: (Sheltered housing for adults with mental disabilities)
The centre frequently participates in various public events. One of these is a social project. The aim of this project is to support and establish good and friendly relationships with the people living in the neighbourhood. People from the centre regularly meet with other colleagues. The placement organises barbeque events for the service users during the summer season. The volunteer is welcome to join all these events.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
- Be able to work with people with mental disabilities

Tarefas: Your main task will be to provide personal support to people using the services. You will participate in free time activities such as playing board games, going for walks, visiting coffee shops or restaurants. Leisure activities are as well based on service users’ preferences and interests. It will be great if you can accompany clients to various cultural events such as concerts, theatre, cinema etc. You can participate in special training such as cooking, baking, cleaning, laundry or shopping which teach clients to be more independent. You can accompany them to social institutions such as doctors, hairdressers, post offices etc.
