Resumo: The hosting organization was established in 2005 to promote youth active participation in our region. Since 2006 it has managed the International Youth Mobility Office, under the umbrella of the Youth Service of the Municipality. Our objectives are:
- To inform young people and organizations working with youngsters about the youth mobility possibilities in Europe in the frame of non-formal education.
- To support them to participate in international and national activities such as youth exchanges, volunteering in European Solidarity corps, training courses, solidarity projects, seminars, internships, etc.
- To host international volunteers with special emphasis on youngsters with less oportunities.
- To promote youth participation at both a local and international level.

Perfil: - Age: 18-30
- Able to communicate in English or/and Spanish
- Interested in working with young people with fewer opportunities and sharing with them skills & hobbies.
- Previous knowledge in some of the following topics will be very welcome: social media and copywriting, graphic design, radio streaming, youth participation, language teaching, european programmes.
- Accomodation and work place are accesible for people with reduced mobility.

Tarefas: Volunteers will support the different projects run by the Municipality for/with young people:
- European Mobility Office working to promote Erasmus+ and ESC projects
- Internet Radio made by young people
- Project for NEET and young people at risk of early school drop-out
- Free time activities designed for and by young people among 17 and 30) Activities usually take place from Monday to Friday. Exceptionally some activities with young people such as meetings, excursions, etc. may take place at the weekends.

Horário: Volunteers will never work more than 30 hours per week and the timetable will be flexible depending on the projects they get involved in.

Condições: ACCOMODATION Volunteers will live in a municipal hostel located in the same building as the office. Each volunteer will have a private bedroom and will share kitchen, laundry room and living room with participants from other programmes. POCKET AND FOOD MONEY Volunteers will receive 6€ a day for food and 5€ a day as pocket money.
