Resumo: At Foundation we have always strived to contribute to the development and strengthening of civil society, values, physical culture and environmental protection, in particular, the development of civic activism, youth volunteering and entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bulgaria. In short, our mission is to fight for a better world, with better people.

We encourage the personal development and career guidance of young people in Bulgaria through training, support, and encouragement of youth volunteering and entrepreneurship. We strongly promote and support an environmentally friendly lifestyle, sustainability, recycling and reducing waste. We support non-formal public groups, youth groups, municipal and state structures and others in the implementation of their initiatives, which are in line with the goals of the Foundation and the developement of the youth in the city.

With the development of technology, countless doors open before us to make it easier to reach out to our various audiences. For that reason, our foundation has relied on technology as an extremely strong resource in the implementation of our activities. In our various projects, technology helps us to manage more innovatively the processes, to work with children or to interact with youth and adults. With technology, we manage to provoke action that helps us reach our goals - to successfully fight for a better tomorrow.
The team of the Foundation for Improvement consists of 7 people - a chairman, three advisors in the fields of Training, Technology and Science and Hardware and IoT. Also, Volunteer Manager, Project Management Specialist and Copywriter. We also have local volunteers that support our activities.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Participates in the implementation of youth events and their coverage, in international trainings and training courses, in meetings with young people and discussing issues at local level. Supports the implementation of youth projects, the organisation of events and initiatives for the local community. Seeks, creates and disseminates youth information through the organization's channels. Communicates with partner organizations and institutions. Popularize the Eurodesk initiative, promote Youth mobilities, looking for and communicate with international partners.

Tarefas: - Office support
Teamwork, youth activities, project writing and coordination.

- Events
Variety of initiatives for popularising life-long learning and volunteering.

- Social media
Creating digital content (photo, video, audio) for popularising events and initiatives. Inclusing Erasmus+ and ESC opportunities.

- Partnerships
Collaboration with local schools, universities, youth organizations etc.
Finding international partners for future collaborative activities.

Horário: 35 working hours per week
2 days off+2 extra per month

Condições: Accommodation is provided with overhead costs included. Accommodation details will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
Travel expenses are covered with a certain limit.

Pocket money
5 EUR/DAY
Paid once a month in cash or by bank transfer.

Food money
150 EUR/MONTH
Paid once per month in cash or by bank transfer.

Public transport
Up to 20 EUR per month
Local public transport is covered up to certain amount. However, Shumen is a small city and everything can be reached in walking distance.
