Resumo: The hosting organization is an NGO initiated in June 2017. The organization is managed by a single tier board, chaired by a President and headquartered in the city. The organization involves 15+ young people and adults, including managers, researchers, trainers, youth workers, admin staff and technicians.
SCOPE OF WORK
We improve the socio-economic conditions and all aspects of the quality of life through education, research and consulting to address societal challenges. We produce and transfer knowhow through cooperation with domestic and international social, academic and business partners.
We are active in youth work by promoting youth mobility, voluntarism, diversity, equality, tolerance, involvement, participation, engagement and empowerment and by helping youth to gain additional knowledge, attitudes, transversal competences and skills.
The objectives are:
1) Providing learning opportunities and career advice to improve employability and social inclusion of young people
2) Equipping youth workers with key competences and skills to foster personal development of youth
3) Fostering local and international collaboration between youth, youth workers and youth organisations
4) Promoting the recognition of youth work, lifelong learning and non-formal education
Perfil: ● Age: 18-30
● Communicates in English
● Background in training, pedagogy, journalism, marketing, communication, content management, social media, web design, graphic/video and/or Moodle
● Work in teams, with initiative and creativity
● Interested in gaining experience in non-formal education and in working with youth
Tarefas: The project AIMS at improving the digital and media skills of youth in our community.
The OBJECTIVES are:
1) Develop the competences of youth from Constanta to deal with media
2) Increase the awareness of tools and tactics to fight against disinformation in the community
3) Improve the skills and competencies of EU volunteers to offer high-quality solidarity activities
Target GROUPS:
1) Young people of age 11-22
2) Secondary schools, high schools, universities, other stakeholders
ACTIVITIES: non-formal training and workshops in schools, universities and youth centres is a WIN-WIN-WIN program that brings together volunteers, young people and local communities to respond to societal challenges. Condições: Accommodation: You will live in shared bedrooms with apartment common area, shared cooking, washing, laundry and social facilities, free Wi-Fi.
Pocket and Food money: food allowance of 5 Euro/day to buy food products and cook for yourself and 3 Euro/day as pocket money.
Local Transport: bus passes to attend activities Holidays: Volunteers will work 6 hours per day, 5 days a week, two consecutive days off per week.
Travel: The travel costs will be reimbursed according to the distance band.
