Resumo: (Youth center)
The hosting organization was built and opened in 2013. Youth center target groups are the young people from the age of 7-26. The youth center is part of the local community. Center works together with the local high school, hobby schools, library and culture house.
Young people have the possibility to play billiards, table football, different board games and console games. There is a music recording studio, possibility to socialize with peers, make creative projects etc. All hobby schools, shops, bus stations, and libraries are in the same area ( 300m radius).
Youth Center is based on the principle of open youth work, which means that the youngsters are offered different opportunities to participate on a voluntary basis in order to support their involvement in society and coping in social life. T
he ideas should come from the youngsters and based on their needs and interests. It is very important to support young people’s initiative.
