Resumo: We're a non-profit based in Ioannina, Greece, since 2011.

What do we support?
Projects related to economic development,entrepreneurship, regional planning, and social and economic development; and many projects helping vulnerable social groups.

How do we do it?
We offer consulting services on topics related to economy,society, and the environment. We're also into Erasmus+ and educationalprojects, and national and European programs, and we organize workshopsand conferences.
Volunteering is on our list too.
We team up with local authorities forvoluntary actions, particularly for the protection of vulnerable social groupsand support for refugees and immigrants.

We work closely with several institutes and organizations aiming atsustainable development. And hey, we're certified by the National Agency forEuropean Solidarity Corps (ESC) projects, and we've got the necessarycertificate of Management Capacity for project implementation from theGreek Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance.

MISSION
Refugees' social integration and social welfare.
Our ESC will allow our volunteers to support the refugeeminors boys (13-18 years old) in our 2 structures.
The activities described below support the social welfareof minor refugees from educational to leisure timeactivities.
The activities to raise awareness about the refugees'challenges are supporting the organization with different young groups while strengthening the youth community.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
+ Basic proficiency in English is required.
+ No specific prior knowledge, skills, or experience isnecessary.
+ The ability to work effectively in a multiculturalenvironment is essential.
+ Flexible and creative, like very creative!
+ Open-minded with a positive attitude.
+ Motivated to promote solidarity.
+ Communicative and sociable.

Tarefas: Each volunteer supports the daily operation of hi sworkplace by delivering various non-formal education activities to the minors.
These can be for example:
+ Intercultural activities, aiming to develop knowledge of the world (especially Europe and volunteer’s country of origin) and to promote European values such as solidarity, equality, tolerance, democracy, diversity, etc.
+ Language activities, mainly of English language, possibly also the volunteer’s native language -arealways delivered in the form of nonformal education activities -games, plays, learning in practice etc.
+ Other activities, depending on the volunteer's skills and interests: sports, musical, art, dance or any other

ACTIVITIES
+ Develop workshops for the minors, such as Creative Expression, Cultural Exchange, Social Dialogue, Rights and Advocacy, Environment,
+ Work on the promotion of NGOs` FB-group, web-site and Internet radio Space (related to the structure we operate);
+ Team-building Games and Activities
+ Social Inclusion Art Projects
+ PR events for promoting refugee issues
+ Language Learning
+ Outdoor Adventure Activities
+ Support our visibility plan by writing articles.
+ Movies, games, etc;

Horário: Volunteers work 6 hours a day, Monday-Friday. The daily work time includes time for preparation, reports, OLS. Sometimes volunteers are involved in some special events that take place on the weekends, but weekly worktime time remains 30-38hours, according to the principles of ESC.

Condições: Pocket Money
Each volunteer will get an amount of6€ per day by a bank transfer to their bank accounts.

Food allowance
Each volunteer will get an amount of 100€ per month by a bank transfer to their bank accounts.

Accommodation
Volunteers will live in an apartment that will be shared by 4 volunteers (each one will have their own bedroom).
The apartment is in the center equipped with all necessary utilities.

Travel Costs
The travel costs are covered up to thel imits of the European Commission based on the travel distance.
