Resumo: We would like to invite one volunteer for a period of 10 months to join us in proving that science can be fun. Our field of work will be realization of cultural-educational projects (workshops, interactive exhibitions, presentations) targeted to local communities in Poland, in kujawsko-pomorskie region. Our target group will be kids&youth&families and local community of Torun, as well as smaller cities.

After work, you will be introduced to all kinds of leisure activities available in our beautiful Torun, city included on UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage List, full of University students, well-organised and full of cultural life.

To sum up: you will get a chance to learn new skills, promote youth activity, learn Polish language, meet new friends, and most probably - have a time of your life!

Perfil: We do not require any specific, scientific knowledge background, although open mind and curiosity will be appreciated and helpful. Previous experience in the field of project management or marketing is not required, as you will be in a constant process of learning and will receive as much help as necessary. In return, we ask for positive attitude, strong motivation and general teamwork skills, because working on projects will include a lot of contact with different kinds of people with different language and communication skills. You should be open to working with youth and local communities and ready to share and present your cultural background to them and during your daily work.

Tarefas: You will work in a team responsible for project management (preparation and realization), mostly in our office in Toruń, but also in smaller cities of the region during the realization of projects. You'll be responsible for preparation of workshops for kids and youngsters, representation of Youth in Action Programme, cooperation with Polish volunteers and activisation of local youth by realization of a smaller, independent project with them. You will have a chance to test yourself in different fields of work during each project, always depending on your interests and preferences. These are the basics - together we will decide on your set of tasks and the final shape of the project.
