Resumo: The hosting organization is a non-profit Youth Organisation. The organisation proposes different kinds of activities, mainly based on volunteering and non-formal education: local and international workcamps, youth exchanges, mid/long term volunteering, leisure time activities for and with people with mental disabilities.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Open-minded, curious, enthusiastic, empathetic; motivated to work with people with mental disabilities on a regular basis; interest for COLLECTIVE activities; create a good group dynamic and ready to take on interesting challenges. The main activities will be organized in FRENCH, therefore, the volunteer should quickly be able to communicate in this language.

Tarefas: Our ESC volunteer will be actively involved in our activities, from the prep to the evaluation, and her/his role will mainly be to facilitate, together with the leaders and other volunteers, the participation of people with fewer opportunities or disabilities. Together with people with disabilities and local young volunteers, the volunteer will have the opportunity to participate in residential leisure time weekends all around Belgium and organize collective activities in Marche-en-Famenne.
S/he will get to meet many new people while contributing to break down stereotypes and encouraging active citizenship and participation among the youth.

Condições: Accommodation:the volunteer will live at a comfortable house near to the town centre. S/he will have his/her own room and will share the common spaces with 6/7 other ESC volunteers involved in other ESC projects.
Food: the volunteer will receive a budget and will take care of the meals by her/himself. Participation in the European Solidarity Corps is free of charge for the participant, except for exceptional contribution to travel costs.
Free board and lodging + pocket money.
