Resumo: We are Christian Catholic NGO for youth support and development. Nowadays we are looking for long-term (1 year or 6 month) volunteers, preferably those who have positive attitude to Christianity and are willing to share those values among young people.
We want to live in a country where relationships are not dependent on the make of the car and the size of the bank account or the address of residence, but on mutual respect and are based on truth.
Faith is not just an empty tradition, but an attractive and inexhaustible source of inspiration, hope and life's courage.
Visions of the future are not naive dreams or the results of growing complacency or comfort, but an invitation to discover and create.

Perfil: We are looking for young people at the age from 18 till 30, preferably those who have positive attitude to Christianity, but we are open to anyone who is open and willing to learn new things. At least communication level of English is required.
Previous volunteer experience and experience in work with children, young people or social work is welcomed. We cannot accept volunteers from Algeria. We won't accept application that will be sent to email of our organisation, please, apply via ESC portal.

Tarefas: Communication Team – you can join to work with media. Creating content for social media about organisation, filming, editing, etc.. Here also is help needed with various marketing campaigns, creating posters, media outputs and so on.

Helping in schools, kindergartens, senior house – in this area volunteers have an opportunity to help in schools and kindergartens, preparing lessons, teaching english also going to senior house to spend time with seniors, take care of them.

Project section – a big help needed in project section to deal with documents, communication, organising projects, workshops, youth exchanges, trainings what mostly is done under Erasmus+.

Condições: Accomodation
Two options provided

1) We offer volunteers to live in a centre with Catholic community, that is part of town Trstena, 6 km far from centre. We offer single bedroom or shared bedroom with other volunteer. Everything is fully equipped – bed, chair, desk, lamps, etc.. Also there are shared rooms – living room, kitchen, bathroom (one bathroom per two rooms).

2) Other option – two room flat with standard equipment for the normal standard living in town Trstená. Flat is shared with other volunteer, each one having their own room.

There are shops where you can buy everything you need for everyday life. There are also bigger towns nearby where you can shop more if you want to.

Money, food
You will receive a monthly allowance of 340 / 345€ (including money for food – 180€, phone – 10€, 150/155€ pocket money, it depends on the number of days in the month) in your own bank account. All travel costs connected with the project are covered.
