Resumo: The hostingorganization is an organization which works with youth in terms of qualitative volunteering, international youth projects, and social services. We encourage young people to get involved in community, take responsibility for their lives and actions, reflect on in-formal and non-formal experiences and learn from it. We reach the youth in international youth projects by giving chance to volunteer, provide them with trained mentor’s help and regular seminars. Also we do social work in the street in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Self-motivated, willing to take on new challenges, open to working with people of all backgrounds and cultures, versatile, flexible, with self-initiative, experienced in children work, willing to take on new challenges, with ability to manage conflicts, excited to participate; mature and responsible. Also, interested and open to live in a family and participate community life. In your motivational letter please identify why YOU should be selected for this opportunity.

Tarefas: The volunteer will have a pro-active role, assisting the school team: teachers, social pedagogue, speech therapist and special pedagogue in the individual work with children that have learning difficulties. As well the volunteer would organize the post-school activities of non-formal learning. There are a lot of organized activities for pupils after classes; so the volunteer would join the educators to create the activities for children. The help of volunteers is expected the following fields:
• To help create dynamics of occupation of free time activities during the breaks or free lessons, through the realization of games and group work, thematic conversations;
• Looking after children after classes at the time when they have to wait for transportation home;
• To be a helper of the special learning in the individual help of the students that have learning difficulties;
• To be a helper of the social pedagogic in the individual or group work of pupils that have behaviour problems.

Condições: A volunteer will be hosted by the community family in their private house. Volunteers will receive food, pocket, and monthly transport ticket money every month.
