Resumo: (sustainability, environmental issues)
The hosting organization is a public institution with a basic emphasis on work with and for the young people, focused onto the identification of needs, young people's interests, providing facilities and programs to satisfy those interests and presenting interesting content in our environment. Since 2012 our center is focused on the topic of Entrepreneurship, Tourism and Youth in local community. We have been active in the field of working with young people for more than 20 years. At this time, it employs more than 12 experts - youth workers, who are involved with activities such as non-formal education, culture, multimedia centre, youth multimedia production, entrepreneurship, information and counseling, children's program, international activities and projects, tourist-information network, promoting and implementing activities in the filed of entrepreneurship and tourism.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Our project is available for 1 volunteer from EU countries (volunteer serviceis in English).

Self-motivated
Being eager to learn and motivated to work on the proposed projectactivities. Motivating to work with people in a non-formal education context.

Being autonomous
You should be able to take initiatives, and suggest activities for young people.

Teamwork
You will create workshops for young people with the staff of our organisationor partners, so you should be able to share your ideas, point of view, respecteach other, etc.

Open-minded
Openmindedness and respectfulness are important to our association.

Friendly
You should like to develop and improve your skills and abilities, be open forexperiments, have some hobbies and like to share them when organizingactivities.

Tarefas: - inform local community about activities in YC,
- develop and disseminate youth documentation (guides and brochures) andeducational tools (exhibitions, games, information monitoring tools and otheradditional resources),
- organize group activities, international evenings, camps and educational activities(animation targeted on a theme according to the needs of the public),
- create fun activities for young people, help the staff to organise activities for youngpeople, parents, etc.,
- inform and raise awareness of volunteering programmes, international mobility andinterculturality, promote ESC programs,
- be involved in multimedia activities: designing posters, taking photos, recordingpodcasts, etc.,
- have free time to develop any kind of project that you want.

Horário: 30 h/week
