Resumo: The hosting organization was created in 1968. It is an association managed by a board of directors of about 20 members composed of students' parents, tutors and professionals. It is an alternance training center under contract with the Ministry of Agriculture.

The organization´s ambition is not only to teach abilities and ways of being, they also aim at teaching what citizenship is and a sens of togetherness. The school ensures the pupils full boarding, and organises lots of collective activities so that everyone works with one another. It also tries to open minds to cultural life thanks to daily activities and evenings, and prepares youngsters and adults to a successfull integration into society, in which thay can find a place and take responsabilities.
The organization accomodates around 120 studients in the training course system (50% of the time spent at school, and 50% in an intership). Training at the same time at school and in a company, linking theory with practise is the pedagogy that has been developped by the orgaization for 80 years.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
- Adaptation, communicative and willing to approach to a different audience ;
- Desire & readiness to work in rural area ;
- Convinced by non-formal education principles and beneficts
- Sense of initiative and willingness to develop one’s project;
- Good level of French or/and English or motivation to learn French;
- Motivation to participate in European project and become a facilitator for European projects and values.

Tarefas: This individual volunteering activity will take place within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps. For 12 months, the volunteer will work in the office.

He/she will be fully integrated in their team and will have a tutor in the MFR, helping him/her with assignments and daily life, and a tutor in the coordinating organization.
Various missions will be entrusted to the volunteer, and more specifically the following ones:
- Promoting European mobility among youngsters followed-up by the social and cultural center as well as students of local middle and high schools. For this purpose, the volunteer will be in charge of bringing them informations about non- formal educational programs, sharing experiences during differents meetings or events, giving his testimony on social medias...
- Assist the English teacher by participating in classes, proposing communicative, ludic and cultural activities in English language, about European culture and values
- Raising awareness on citizenchip and intercultural topics, presenting his/her country and trying to fight against stereotypes. The volunteer will contribute in creating pedagogical activities, participating in workshops, organizing debates, etc.;
- Assisting youngsters in the preparation and realization of collective projects to enhance their international mobility and active citizenship (Erasmus + projects, cultural projects...)
- Suggesting new activities for youngsters and local population in accordance with their needs and your expactations (for instance : helping children in home assignments, leading cultural and artistic activities, encouraging sport and good health practises...

All these activities will be discussed with the volunteer and can be adapted according to his/her interests. The volunteer will also be encouraged to implement own initiatives and will benefit from qualified support of the team to do that.
