Resumo: A typical day runs from 8 to 15h, or 6 hours maximum per day, on average, 5 days a week.
A two-week break is scheduled each semester.
Work could be held on Saturday.
The gardener will be the tutor and the person supervising the volunteer projects
The park of Domaine de Mozet has an area of 11 Ha
It contains 3 Ha of fir
Here's the daily work for the volunteer
In 2004, we created a mini-farm to maintain (chickens, geese, rabbits, turkeys, and biquette)
The maintenance of the cabins and living spaces are one of the tasks of the volunteer (1 hour per day)
In 2010, we fenced 1,5 Ha meadow, and placed two horses. The maintenance of huts and the feeding of the horses is part of the volunteer activities.
These activities are also made with the children staying with us. (1 hour per day)
In 2010, we have also partnered with leading + (from three villages: Gesves, Assesse and Ohey ) and planted a medieval vegetable garden. This garden contains plants and flowers which are used in animation, cooking wild plants but also daily by the chef of Domaine de Mozet. The maintenance of the garden will be performed by the volunteer (1-2 hours per week)

In 2011, we created a pedagogical pond. This allows the children to observe the little creatures with binoculars.
The volunteer can make educational signs.
We select waste and make compost. The volunteer will participate in the management of the compost (the compost move through a sieve) (1 hour per day)
In general, when time permits, the volunteer will participate in the eradication of the brambles in the wasteland, identify and remove all the climbing ivy on the trees, remove invasive snowberry, weed the feet of young trees in the orchard, mulch the not ripe compost, place the biocarbonyl on the shelters and make repairs to the mini mare and mini-farm
During the work camps,
in autumn with volunteers from Québec
in July with “Compagnons bâtisseurs”
in September with JAVVA,
the volunteer will be integrated to the working team
