Resumo: (Kindergarten and Women’s)
The hosting organization is a registered non profit organisation active in both Spain and Greece, working towards the inclusion of refugees and migrants through educational and cultural activities. We work mainly with volunteers to offer language classes, technical workshops, sports activities, cultural events, and women and children’s support to the wide variety of communities we work with. At the same time, we work on an international level to create awareness about the situation of refugees while working with many European partners to increase our social impact.

Mission
The organization equips migrants with tools to access opportunities and build a future while advancing equality and inclusion within local communities through intercultural exchange, education, and advocacy.

Vision
The organization will strive to become a key player within the community of organizations working to enhance the social and economic integration of migrants at a local level and an important voice advocating for policies that protect the rights of migrants and favor their inclusion within a diverse European society

Purpose
The organization wants to strongly contribute to an inclusive society without barriers to the legal, social and economic participation of migrants as equal and valued members of society.

Perfil: ➔ Age: 18-30
➔ Organisational skills;
➔ A bachelor's degree in early childhood education, children’s psychology, or a related field is preferred;
➔ Experience working with women and/or survivors of GBV is preferred;
➔ Experience with early childhood practices and working with refugees is preferred;
➔ A communicative and adaptable personality;
➔ Demonstrated ability to work in teams in a fast-paced environment;
➔ Flexibility regarding the schedule;
➔ Knowledge of English. One of the following languages is an asset: Arabic, Kurdish (Kurmanji, Sorani, Badini), Farsi, Turkish or Dari.

Tarefas: ➔ Develops and prepares activities and story-telling for kindergarten space;
➔ Facilitates a warm and welcoming environment in the Women’s Space;
➔ Develops and plans activities for adult women;
➔ Facilitates communication with the children and their families;
➔ Provides translation and interpretation between the families and the international volunteers to ease communication and create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment;
➔ Encourages creativity and respect in children by organising art and craft projects on a daily basis;
➔ Provides psychosocial support that focuses on strengthening the relationship between children and their parents.

Condições: The project is funded by the European Commission through the European Solidarity Corps program. This means that volunteering provides:

✅ Travel costs coverage: Up to the limits established in the Erasmus+ Guide distance calculator from the volunteer’s region of residency to our center, and back.
✅ Free Accommodation: Provided next to our activities center, with other volunteers. Houses are fully equipped (kitchen, bathrooms, washing machine, etc.). Note: be ready to share your bedroom with other volunteers of the same gender.
✅ Monthly allowance: 270 euros per month.
✅ Insurance: Henner
✅ Free Language courses: Online but also in person, according to availability.
