Resumo: The hsoting organization is an association under the law of 1901, created in 2000 by several structures involved in the promotion of European citizenship.

The organization has five key missions:
-Promotion and support of European mobility: We are a sending and hosting organisation for the European Solidarity Corps. We provide practical information and personalised advice to help young people achieve their mobility goals (all types of mobility: volunteering, internships...). We also help organisations wishing to send or host volunteers. The aim is to enable citizens to experience Europe, to develop their intercultural skills and their belonging to the EU through European citizenship.
-Information, advice and training on European issues (resources, skills, tools, training...). The aim is to enable citizens and organisations to enrich their ideas about Europe, to become better informed and to better understand the EU, its functioning and its policies and thus fighting against fake news.
-Cultural activities for a better knowledge and understanding of European cultural diversity by organising educational and cultural activities throughout the year, for children to adults (language lessons, conferences, activities, citizens' debates, cultural events...). The aim is to include all audiences around European issues through cultural mediation.
-Debate (participative reflections, exchanges, café-debates, round tables, seminars...). The aim is to bring European citizens together, to have them debate European issues that affect them directly and to enable them to contribute to the construction of Europe and to create new local European dynamics.
-Support for European collaborations and projects (assistance in setting up European projects and seeking funding, creativity and innovation, cross-fertilisation of skills...). The aim is to bring local and European actors (private or public) together, to support them and to create synergies between them.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We're looking for a motivated, outgoing and enthusiastic person for whom interculturality, solidarity and European citizenship and culture are important. The desire to work with children, teenagers and young adults is essential. The mission involves frequent travel and the wider region (both urban and rural), to reach out to the most sceptical/distant audiences from European issues. The willingness to engage with ALL types of audience is important. We're looking for someone who is open-minded and who enjoys working in a team. Basic knowledge of French can be appreciated.

Tarefas: The aim of this project (10 months, Sep or Oct 2023 to July or Aug 2024) is to promote European culture and citizenship among our different audiences, especially young people Participation in the following activities will be also proposed: - Support during interventions in schools (ludic and interactive approach – ages 5 to 18, sometimes 18+).
- Sharing his/her experience of mobility with young people to encourage them to discover other european and international countries and cultures.
- Supporting communication activities and helping to develop Europa Nantes (our public space where we organize cultural events (concerts, exhibitions, etc.)
- Participation in the organisation and animation of events, in particular the Erasmus Days in October 2022, the Europe Day in May 2024
- And more! We also encourage the development of one or more personal projects related to our activities.

Condições: The accommodation will be provided. A food and pocket money allowance will be granted each month. A public transport card is also included.
The activity place will be at space dedicated to Europe, where about 30 European associations have joined forces and work together. We have a community bar, a radio studio, a European library, 2 information points, 8 language classrooms, a kitchen and a conference room. We organize a lot of cultural events there! The volunteer will have a desk on the 1st floor with the members of the team and the other volunteers
