Resumo: The organization was founded in March 1990 and is an officially recognized non-profit association for organizing youth works, with the aim to expand the idea of international voluntary movement. The association organizes international youth meetings with short term projects (workcamps) and long term projects (European Solidarity Corps, weltwärts) as sending, hosting, and coordinating organization.
Furthermore, the organization is one of the three NGOs in the city that is offering young people to take part in the national year-long volunteering service Freiwilliges Ökologisches Jahr (Voluntary Ecological Year).
More to that, the organization is running a Project and Meeting place in the outskirts of the city.
Every year we organize international workcamps, bilateral projects, and seminars in Germany. The organization is able to offer around 600 workcamp places to German volunteers to go to our partner organizations in around 60 different countries in the world.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
You should speak either German or English with fluency, since it is necessary to guarantee communication with the team. A minimum B1 level of German is desired. Working at the organization requires digital competences, teamwork spirit as well as the ability to work independently. The organization welcomes motivated, flexible, friendly and curious volunteers that are willing to learn new things related with the sociocultural and youth field. Gender, nationality, religion, political and sexual orientation are not considered in the selection. The volunteer is chosen regarding skills, experiences, interests and motivation.

Tarefas: The volunteer will be involved in all activities as a full member of the organization. The general tasks are supporting administrative tasks, updating the website and the social media, co-organization of cultural and creative projects and events, working in the cafe and taking part of the team meetings.
In addition, the volunteer is welcome to propose their own project based on their personal interests. Examples of projects and events are concerts, movie nights, silkscreening workshops, photo and video courses, clothes swap events, communal cooking, repair cafe, intercultural evenings for local young people and a summer festival (on topics environment and politics

Condições: Local transport: the volunteer will receive a monthly ticket for public transportation.
Accommodation and food: the volunteer will share a flat with other volunteers. They will have their own room but share common areas.
Money for food will be provided on a monthly basis (8,20€/day).
Pocket money: will be provided on a monthly basis. It is about 150€/month (5€/day).
