Resumo: (baseball, children)
The hosting organization is a non-profit organisation that promotes exercise and health of children and young people. We use innovative concepts and baseball as a platform to support the development of children and youngsters. Our target group are kids between the ages of 4 and 16. We want to give young people a positive perspective on life and all its challenges.
Our motto is Freedom to perform!. To us it means giving children the freedom to perform, in sports as well as in life. The skills and competences they learn with us shall open doors to a bright future. A future where they have the freedom to perform and live a self-determined life. We live by the vision that a healthy mindset is critical for success in sports as well as in life. Applying our Positive Coaching methods to help increase core strengths like happiness, hope, optimism, wellbeing, resilience, and flow. In other words, it is about how young athletes can feel good and thrive applying their natural strengths to make the best of themselves, in every situation.

Since 2019 our organization has introduced Baseball to more than 8500 kids in the city.
In the year 2022 alone, we have organized 17 sporting festivals for schools, participated in international tournaments in Italy and Croatia, held 2 huge sporting events with 100+ people attending. In our third year of existence we have institutional partnerships from Australia to Italy, from Slovenia to Germany and from Poland to USA. We cooperate with two universities on research projects as well as with an Austrian TV station and the Austrian foundation for innovation in education.
Diversity has always meant a way to strengthen our teams, and we look forward to including a European Solidarity Corps volunteer in our team!

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Applicants should be motivated to work with kids and have an interest in sports, project management, and communication. No previous knowledge or skills are required.
It will be of advantage if you have basic knowledge in German, English, or Spanish, but it is not a requirement.
We encourage in particular youngsters with fewer opportunities to apply for our project!

Tarefas: As a volunteer you will be working alongside the coaches in our daily work. You will support us with our projects and cooperations with schools, kindergartens and social institutions, as well as the different events that we have throughout the year. Your tasks will be to support our administrative work, as well as help with our project preparations and implementation.
Your activity fields will be: project management, marketing and communication, assisting in sports activities and events.
