We are a Youth Center and look forward to welcoming you.
We are a team that works with young people in Klaipėda's district. We offer you to become part of our team and contribute to the development of youth work.
We will create conditions for you to grow as a person, to work in a team and individually, to realize your ideas, to create, and implement plans, and to get acquainted with the unique nature, history, and people of the region. If you choose us you will have a great experience and will get to know a new country – its culture, habits and traditions, language, traditional food, and many other things.

The Youth Center was established on 2016, February 2nd. The Youth Center organizes its activities in accordance with the principles of open youth work and youth needs. The Center carries out social, preventive, educational, and creative, youth employment activities, and provides primary emotional information and counseling services. About 200 young people participating in the organization can feel safe, spend time, interact with each other, and play various board games, table football, billiards, table tennis, and darts. The youth center has been organizing mobile youth work in the region for two years. 3 days a week our team members go to villages and work with young people.
Infrastructure was created for the Youth Center, and the material base was acquired and handed over to the management: youth summer stage with a stage play, spectators' benches, sports grounds, youth creative workshop place, hall, and 2 rooms for work with inventory and equipment.

These facilities provide activities for young people to be encouraged to work, volunteer, non-formal learning, inter-institutional and transnational co-operation, information and education mobility, citizenship, and tolerance.

Perfil: 18-30 years old;
interested and motivated in working with youngsters from 14 until 29 years old;
interested in intercultural learning (are open to new cultures and are willing to learn from their
participation);
have a hobby and you want to share it with others (photography, dances, singing, sport and etc.;
participate in activities and classes organized by the organization team;
patient and responsible;
basics in English leagues;
not participated in long-term volunteering before.

Tarefas: The volunteer will be a member of the team and help the youth worker with daily tasks.
- Will have the opportunity to share their own ideas and with the support of the team will be able to implement them.
- Photography of the activities, filming, publicity activities (preparation and publication of entries on social networks), and preparation of an article about the activities.
- Responsible for preparing and participating in daily activities connected to billiards, table tennis, and using sport inventor.
- The volunteer will have activities with youngsters in the group and individually, so it needs to be flexible.
- Will be given the opportunity to spend their leisure time with local informal youth groups, thus knowing Lithuania, Lithuanians, Lithuanian traditions and culture, and ways of communicating.
