Resumo: Stowarzyszenie Jeden Świat, eng. One World Association (OWA) was registered in 1994 by a group of very motivated young volunteers and local activists. Since then it has become a well-established voluntary organisation, appreciated and recognised by both national partners and local, grassroots communities.
Our mission is to promote the idea of peace and understanding between people through international and national volunteering and non-formal education programmes. We are the Polish branch of Service Civil International, a global movement that has been working for peace for more than 101 years now.
Our actions are based on the belief that one of the most important things that we all need to gain today is the ability to cooperate peacefully between people, communities, cultures and nations. Therefore, together with volunteers and partners, we implement the vision of our Association by educating about the modern, diverse world and building mutual trust between people, regardless of their identity, physical abilities, orientation, or national, ethnic or religious affiliation.
Working with the youth is very dear to our hearts, as it allows us to shape a generation that will work for a peaceful, united Europe (and beyond).

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We would like to host a broad-minded young person with a positive attitude. The volunteer may have previous experience related with non formal education and international trainings, but the most important is an open mind and willingness to learn new things and take part in new challenges. We look for a curious person open to new cultures, motivated, creative, that likes to work in a team and has his/her own initiative.

Tarefas: - preparing and running workshops and meetings for youth in local schools; different topics (f.e. peace, human rights, minority rights, antidiscrimination, racism, social and climate justice, intercultural learning, solidarity),
- promoting youth international projects of non-formal education,
- co-leading summer volunteering projects organised by our association for local communities,
- helping in organizing local and international trainings and courses hosted by our association,
- social media management, organising thematic meetings about countries of origin,
- taking care of digital documentation of projects run by our association. There is also a space to share volunteers’ personal interests and passions. ESC volunteers work as part of a team with staff and Polish volunteers in the local and regional community.

Condições: The volunteer will share a fully-equipped flat with other participants and will have his/her own bedroom. The flat is well connected to the office by public transport. The volunteer receives a fixed amount of a monthly support allowance and pocket money. A city transport card is also provided.
