Resumo: The hosting organization is an organisation, founded in Slovakia in 2016 as a local youth initiative with the aim to realise positive changes and develop activitieson a local and international levels in the field of education, human rights, andecology for the current requirements of the Labour market.
Since its establishment, the organisation has become a pool of young professionals who provide guidance and organise teaching activities in orderto provide youngsters with soft skills, and knowledge about different educational and career opportunities at local, national, and international levels.
The organnziation carries out a program to acquire soft skills through nonformal learning such as discussions, debates, group work, and brainstorming.From the topics of internal motivation and creativity, we go through leadership, teamwork, communication, marketing, work, and educational opportunities, all the way to the creation of a business plan or community projects. During these workshops, we implement new trends in the labor market.
Perfil: We are seeking young adults aged 18-30 who are passionate about our organisation and share our values. Candidates should be eager to learn, open to new challenges, and able to communicate in English. Digital literacy, a sense of responsibility, an open mind, initiative, and an interest in working with young people are desired traits. Skills or professional experience is not necessary, but rather a willingness to participate and develop personal skills. Our volunteers will have the opportunity to bring new ideas and activities, as well as act as informal ambassadors of their country by sharing information and culture.
We do not require specific skills or professional qualifications, but rather interest and enthusiasm. He should enjoy working with related tasks and developing his skills. Our volunteers will also have space to develop new ideas and personal interests. We will encourage them to develop new activities, own initiatives and ideas. The volunteer should be aware that he is an informal ambassador of his country, to provide direct information in the context of today's European conditions for youth, their problems, obstacles, as well as desires and expectations, and with motivation to share his culture, country, etc.
Tarefas: The program as described (below) offers volunteers a number of activities to increase their soft skills. No one is excluded from our activities: people with fewer opportunities, children, the elderly, and people with special needs who live in the city will be part of our project activities. Even without being a part, they will see that our actions improve their lives as well.
Our organization can offer volunteers the opportunity to participate in a number of activities.
Volunteers will play a supporting role in organizing activities, workshops, and events. They will be able to design their own activities, organise events focused on the environment, soft and some hard skills.
1-Activities at schools
For the acquisition of soft skills through nonformal education, such as discussions, debates, work in groups, and brainstorming, at secondary schools in Trnava.
2-Workshops for creating your own projects
The organization helps young people organise their own small or large projects (workshops, events, dialogues, festivals, youth exchanges).
3-Discussion clubs
The organization organises discussion clubs for local youth, as well as young people coming from abroad who live in Trnava, in the implementation of which volunteers are involved.
4-Office support
The organization manages its social networks and website and prepares newsletters. All contributions related to the promotion of the organisation's programs and activities.
5-Activities in cooperation with Charity
The charity's mission is to encourage help in cooperation with other church and civic organisations, based on the principles of selfless love.
6-Activities in cooperation with the Library
In cooperation with the library, we would like to organise workshops on critical thinking, meetings of young people and seniors through intergenerational dialogue, and a human library activities.
7-Community activities
Every young person will gain the skills and abilities to identify, create, and connect with a local community through events and activities.
