Resumo: (homeless)
The hosting organization is a no-profit organization working in the field of mental health since 1994. Its main goal is to foster the recovery and improve the quality of life of people living with mental health issues, but the organization also support other target groups such as homeless people.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
The ideal candidate for the position should have:
- High motivation and willingness to work with homeless people;
- The volunteer should be open-minded, patient, proactive, dynamic and creative;
- A basic knowledge of Spanish is positively valued.

Tarefas: he volunteer will collaborate in the Municipal Shelter for homeless people managed by the organization, where he/she will carry out the following tasks:
- Support service users in improving interpersonal relationships, promoting dialogue, listening and welcoming, promote personal growth and autonomy.
- Participate in and propose leisure activities aimed at promoting a positive use of free time;
- Participate in and propose activities based on sport, physical activity and movement with the purpose to promote an active life style.

Condições: The volunteer will have a private room in a shared flat. He/she will receive a monthly allowance for food and a pocket money for personal expenses. In case to need local transport to reach the venue of the activities, the volunteer will be provided with a bus card which will be periodically recharged by the hosting organization.
