Resumo: (Media and communication/Youth information)

The Hosting organization is a network of social cooperatives and voluntary organizations deeply rooted in our area.
It is the operational tool of 5 social cooperatives and 2 non-profit organizations which form its social base.

Assuming the spirit of collaboration with the local territorial bodies, it is a partner of the Municipality and other local bodies for the planning and management of social services especially in the sectors of disability, minors, job placement of disadvantaged groups, immigrants, mental health.

It is at the service of its members to build, in a network logic, entrepreneurial support, development and consultancy services, promoting the model of social cooperation elaborated within the experience of Federsolidarietà.

The organization which aggregates over 50 territorial consortia and more than 600 cooperatives present in all regions of Italy.

Small size, participation, social responsibility, specialization, territoriality are the essential elements of our way of doing social enterprise.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will participate on the activities of the organization, in the field of Media and communication/Youth
information working at the department that manages the European Solidarity Corps and some of the tasks that are going to be asked are
- work at the office ( delivering and sending mail, etc
- keep on Facebook profile and blog dedicate to ESC ( articles, opportunities, events, etc
- support in the organization of events with the goal of create moments of intercultural confront but also to promote the subject of solidarity and active citizenship
- support on the communication with the volunteers abroad and the young people interested on ESC or Servizio Civile (a type of italian Volunteering Service)
- preparation of promotional or informative material about the activities

Horário: The volunteer will work Monday to Friday in a total of 32 35 hours a week .
The volunteer will have two consecutive days off per week (normally Saturday and Sunday) and two day holidays per month to be used according to the volunteer’s needs but always to be agreed with the supervisor.

Condições: He/she will live in a flat with other esc volunteers, the apartment has 2 bedrooms and it’s near the city centre. The volunteer will share a double room (in the apartment there are 2 double rooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a big living room)

The volunteer will have a bicycle to move freely in the city.
