Resumo: (Volunteering Teams in high priority areas)
The project aims to give young people the chance to rediscover nature work, manual activities and team spirit.
The goal of the Project is to make people aware of climate change by carrying out activities that are considered as our contribution towards environmental protection.
Local young minds will also be involved in the activities to raise their awareness on the issue of conscious consumption. Given the sensitive and highly topical nature of the issue this will be Voluteering team in high priority.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: Part of the activities will take place in a municipal library. The library is surrounded by a garden where volunteers can work and relax. Gardening and woodworking activities will take place here. In the garden, activities related to creative recycling and restoration of furniture will be developed to create a small park for neighborhood residents. The activities, therefore, will be agriculture, gardening and bricolage.
The agricultural space managed by the Link Association is a place where throughout the year European volunteers carry out farming activities for the production of 0 km food. The volunteers will participate in planting the summer garden.
Another part of the project will take place in a primary school in the city, where the participantswill do intercultural and artistic activities with children with the aim of creating an artistic mural to color the school garden space where the pupils carry out an environmental education project, actively working in a small vegetable garden. In addition to this, the group of volunteers will help restore garden furniture. More detailed program will be establiched according to the needs.

Condições: ACCOMODATION
The participants will be hosted in one of the organization´s apartments. The flat has all the furniture to allow a comfortable stay.

3 balconies
wi-fi

We will provide transportation between the accommodation and the Farm, while you'll be able to reach library on foot (30 minutes) and the school (15 minutes). You'll be responsible for food and meal management.

It's necessary to bring with you:
towels;
comfortable clothes and shoes for gardening (they can
be dirty);
suncream;
hat;
something from your country (food, drinks, games,
songs, whatever you want);
a loooooooooooot of energy!
