Our school
We are a private Montessori school for 6 to 14 years old students, located in a small town. The school was founded in 1994 and is today one of the oldest and largest Montessori schools in Austria.

Our methodology
In our school, the students can develop their own potential and are guided lovingly and respectfully on their way to become responsible, independent, and respectful adults. Children learn creatively and freely according to Maria Montessori's Ideas.
The joy of learning, freedom and project-oriented work on a holistic basis are the most important and fundamental pillars for us.

A typical day with us
An average day at our school starts at 7:45 and ends at 12:40. The students have an open beginning and can get to school until 8:15, the time when the first free working time starts.

The first free working time lasts until 9:45. We are all based on a room principle: The children decide which room they want to be during the whole free working time and can both participate in the presentations as well as work with the material themselves, depending on their own interests.
The second free working time starts at 10:15 and lasts until 11:50. The day ends with a group time between 11:50 and
12:40, where the students meet with their tutor and discuss both personal and ongoing debates.
In our school we frequently go to the woods for walks and to carry out different outdoor activities. We are in constant connection with the nature.
In addition, parents are involved in the school routine by preparing lunch with the students on a daily basis. We only prepare organic, seasonal and vegetarian dishes.

Horário: Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:45 till 14:00 + meetings (teachers' meetings + tutoring meetings).
Vacations during the official austrian holiday period (Christmas, Easter, White week...).

Condições: Living and working in a small village. Accommodation with a host family related to the school. Pocket money + food money + transportation ticket.
Lunch at school: vegetarian, seasonal, biological and fresh.
