Resumo: Activity of the Association is aimed for youth and people who cooperate with them. Goal of this project is activisation of youth in deciding on matters important to them. We want them to believe that their voice matters.
We have experience in supporting young, active people, youth leaders through workshops and regranting. The Association was created in 2002. Since 2003 it served as the Center of Regional Program and since 2014 "Erasmus+" Programme.

Our project main objective is to develop youth competences in the field of knowledge (Europe, European values,
youth and seniors policy in different countries, democratic participation) and promote next values and attitudes:
sense of community, responsibility, engagement, active participation, diversity and democracy.
This project combines principles of solidarity and volunteering as important instruments for development of local
community.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

It is the last round of the project in 2023, and we are looking for 4 volunteers.

Volunteers will be involved to the topics: culture, community development, equality and nondescrimination and very important will be the intergenerational and intercultural solidarity context. Our organization is reacting for the most important current needs of community, so volunteer will be also partly involved in activities which Association do for the Ukrainians who came to the city after the 24-th of February (help in children's camp, informational punkts,
organization of integration meetings for Ukrainians and local community).
Our project is also prepared for young people with fewer opportunities (geographic, economic and social
obstacles, educational difficulties, people who are sufeered because of war), with respect of formal criteria of
volunteering in the frame of ESC (participants aged between 18-30 and registered or willing to register on ESC
portal). These persons should also be willing to cooperate with the target group of the beneficiares of the project.

The volunteer should be:
- motivated to do ESC volunteering project and available for the all period of volunteering;
- willing to help and support others, including other volunteers,
- willingness to support the organization in the implementation of planned activities,
- interest in working for the local community,
- desire to develop and learn new things,
- the ability to use spoken English (necessary to contact the coordinators and other employees of the association),
- responsible and flexible,

The advantage will be:
- experience of working with youth, children, seniors, refugees or unemployed people,
- organizational skills, openness and communication skills,
- social media management skills,
- creativity, artistic or sports skills,
- knowledge of one of the languages: English, Ukrainian, German, Spanish - which allows you to conduct basic classes for seniors, children, etc.,
- ability to work with video films, graphics programs,
- ability to work in a team.

Tarefas: - assistance in organizing and conducting activities for the benefit of the local community in the Neighborhood
House, Senior Academy, the Youth Activity Center, the UNICEF project for refugees, the People's University and
other projects by: supporting the preparation and organization of classes, presentations, workshops, co-leading
classes, implementing the schedule of meetings, animating organizations and groups renting space in
the organization, opening closing workshop rooms;

-cooperation with project coordinators of the Stowarzyszenie Morena in the preparation, organization and
implementation of activities, projects and programs of the association and association partners such as: Time for
Youth, EuroSkills Europe, Intergenerational Dialogue Day, International Senior Day, Europe Day, charity campaign;

- preparing and conducting various thematic activities for groups of recipients (see Recruiting Form) - classes, workshops, presentations, integration meetings, etc. in schools, organizations, community centers, branches of the Association, Neighborhood Houses on social topics; presentations about volunteer own country, youth
mobility opportunities for youth;

- tasks related with searching, writing, publishing news, information, co-creating materials promoting
the activities of the organization and, among others, Neighborhood House, Youth Fund, Europe Direct Gdańsk Point (posters, leaflets, promotional materials, videos, info-packs, etc.), taking photos, making videos, updating social
media,

- office and cleaning tasks: printing, scanning, copying and stamping, sending letters, updating information on boards, posters, stands, cleaning and storage tasks, inventory tasks,

- preparation of city games for children and youth and meetings with volunteers, assistance in integrating participants (team games, energizers, etc.),

- cooperation with volunteers in the place of accommodation and work - duties regarding to ordering and cleanliness; support of the organization in the organization of EKS group volunteering.

In the case of activities longer than 7 hours/day, the volunteer may use overtime at a previously agreed other
time. The duration of activities outside the city(camps, trips to the center) will be 30% of the project time.

Condições: Accommodation: The volunteer will be living in a hosting rooms (2-3 people in the room) in rented flat, which
have basic needed facilities, shared toilet and kitchen.

Travel Cost: from the country of volunteer to Poland and back, will be covered due to distance calculator, after
receiving tickets and Invoices for travel expenses.

Pocket Money: 4 Eur/day

Food Allowance: 700,00 PLN/month
