Resumo: (ESC volunteering teams - heritage)
The inhabitants of Faucogney-et-la-mer, a village prized as a “town of character” are
waiting with enthusiasm to welcome their first international workcamp. This includes discovering
new and different ways of thinking and acting, sharing skills, investing oneself to develop an area
and taking part in the collective life: there will be many possibilities to promote solidarity! Each
workcamp offers unique experiences, so come to Faucogney-et-la-mer and make your own!

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The community owns on its grounds a beautiful space with hanging gardens. With the aim of developing permaculture projects, there are some facilities that need to be put in place to ensure public safety. This is why you will renovate a wall of about 10 meters in length for around 6 hours per day. You will learn the techniques of traditional masonry and dry-stone-wall building. You will evolve as a team with the support of two leaders, and share collective life tasks such as cooking, cleaning, after work activities, etc.

Condições: You will stay in a big communal house reserved for your group. Two rooms can serve as the bedrooms where you will sleep on either field beds or mattresses. Please bring your own blanket, sleeping bag, and pillow. The place is equipped with a kitchen, and you will take showers at the locals.
To get to the work site you will take the main road of the village and walk for around 5 minutes. For other trips like going shopping or visiting the surroundings, the locals will be gladly willing to help.
With the support of the campleaders, you will make the menu and prepare in turn the meals every day. There will be the possibility to eat vegetarian or vegan and plan accordingly, if necessary. You will often share meals with the inhabitants giving you the opportunity to discover the local gastronomy and to share precious moments together.
