Resumo: (ESC VOLUNTEERING TEAMS - Heritage)
On the edge of the Bonant valley and the gorges of Aveyron lies the village of Milhars, an ancient medieval town with stone lanes leading to its castle. With its traditional architectural heritage, the village welcomes many cyclists and hikers. It is home to many cultural and social associations: theatre, community café, etc. You will have the opportunity to mingle with the local population by taking part in the many summer varieties that take place in the area: night markets, patronal celebrations, festivals, etc.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: You will participate in the renovation and valorisation of the medieval village: renovation of staircases, weeding and development of planted terraces, cleaning and renovation of stone walls and of the Milhars washhouse. You will be supervised by local craftsmen.

Condições: You will be accommodated in tents of three to five people, with mattresses, next to the community hall which will be your living space. There will be no washing machine or wifi on site. Showers will be taken in the inhabitant's home, in small groups of two to three people per house each day. You will prepare meals collectively, in self-management within
the group. Particular attention will be paid to a balanced diet and to local and seasonal products.
