Resumo: (ESC VOLUNTEERING TEAMS - heritage)
Since 2002, the association Citrus has been organizing international workcamps in the Tarn-et-Garonne region. Each year, dozens of volunteers from all over the world take part in a technical workcamp of public interest, in the heart of a village.
This year, you will participate in a workcamp in the small village of Genebrières, where you will actively participate in the organisation of the village fair, on May 20th.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: You will be involved in the renovation of the exterior wall of the village church: removing the plaster to reveal the typical local brickwork, replacing missing bricks and renovating the joints. You will work every morning from Monday to Friday, between five and six hours a day, together with the municipal employees of the village.

Condições: You will be accommodated in a collective room with mattresses on the floor, two minutes’ walk from the work site. You will have access to the village hall, facing your living quarters, and notably to the kitchen. There will be no free access to a washing machine.
Every day, a team of volunteers will cook meals for the whole group, according to menus that you will have chosen collectively. Special attention will be brought to seasonal and local food.
Arrangements for special diets can be made with the group leaders.
