Resumo: The international folk festival called "Tanssipidot" will be held 13.-17.6. in Tampere, Finland. There will be dancers from Estonia, Hungary, India, Finland etc. We have been planning to organize a group evs for the event.

Tarefas: The volunteer will participate in various activities such as dance, theatre and sports in generally. S/he assists leaders, local volunteers and/or empolyees in all kind of work such as planning and organising leisure activities and events. If the volunteer is active and interested in sports or culture activities, s/he can organize a club of sport, handicraft or theatre depending on her/his intrest.

Horário: Monday 4.6. Travelling to Finland and getting to know each other

Tuesday 3.6. Getting to know each other and start volunteering

From Wednesday 4.6. until Friday 6.6. Volunteering in a local unit (We are discussing about this with our local unit. This might include sth assisting in a theatre product or children freetime activities. We will confirm this next week.)

From Saturday 7.6. until Sunday 8.6. Freetime activities

Monday 11.6. and Tuesday 12.6. Assisting Folkdance festival staff and volunteers (eg. decoration, assisting in all preparation tasks)

From Wednesday 13.6. until Sunday 17.6. Folkdance Festival, assisting staff and volunteers in

various tasks (eg. selling tickets; organizing events; assisting cookers, dancers, accommodation staff and producers in all tasks where the help is most needed)

Monday 18.6. Reflecting and free time

Tuesday 20.6. Travelling from Finland

Condições: The volunteer will accommodate with a local family that helps volunteer to adapt to Finnish culture. The volunteer will eat local home-made food and get familirized with the culture together with the host family.
