Resumo: (youth center)
In youth center, youth have a chance to understand the world around them by talking with people and getting advice, also learning about different possibilities for future. The youth center hosts annual sports tournaments (table tennis & poo), art and crafts workshops, is participating in community activities and active citizen projects for local youth together with its partners . Also, the organization hosts charity events, exchanges culture and stories, teaches music appreciation and encourages kids through group discussions and games.
The organization works on the open youth work method principles.

Perfil: - aged 18-30 (according to European Solidarity Corps programme rules);
- know English at least on basic level;
- have great interest towards volunteering and participate in activities ;
- have interes t towards people, communication, team-work and learning (at least some) Estonian;
- want to work with youth and kids .
- play an instrument is a bonus, but not required;
- motivated to share hi s /her own culture, traditions with locals;
- ready to spend 10-months in Estonia.

The specific competences are not required beforehand, but if you have some experience with kids , know multiple languages or have volunteered before, let us know!

Tarefas: As a volunteer, you will have the pos s ibilit y to engage in di ver se range of activities of the youth centre, kindergarten, high school and meet local people of all ages .
All of the activities will be discussed in team meetings and both volunteers are supported throughout their volunteering activity in Estonia. Besides the below mentioned activities , we will be ver y happy to take on your own
ideas and initiative. You are especially welcome to introduce your own home country , culture and language.
You will work ca 7 hour a day (not less than 30 and no more than 38 hours per week)

PLANNED TASKS OF THE VOLUNTEER:
- Assisting youth centre staff in recreational, educational and entertaining activities for the local youngster s.
- Taking part of planning and organizing activities and events (concerts, movie nights, folk holidays etc) together with other local institutions.
- Possibili ty to assist kindergar ten teachers in daily routines with children in the kindergarten.
- Creating own initiatives such as music concerts , workshops aimed to local youth.
