Resumo: (people with a mental illness)
The hosting roganization is a place where people with a mental illness come to rebuild their lives. The participants are called members, not patients, and the focus is on theirstrengths, not their illness. Work in the clubhouse provides the core process.
Every opportunity provided is the result of the efforts of the members and staff who work side by side in a unique partnership. One of the most important steps members take towards greater independence is transitional employment where they work in the community in real jobs.
Members also receive assistance in securing housing, advancing their education, obtaining good psychiatric and medical care as well as maintaining public benefits.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will be asked to assist the staff and members of the organization to carry out various tasks within the organization. Tasks include helping in the kitchen, assisting in planning activities, helping with administration, repair work, etc. The role of the volunteer will be based on his/her strength and interest. There is a lot of variety in the work at the organization and the possibilities for the volunteer to bring in his/her ideas and abilities.

Horário: 35 hours a week
