Resumo: (cultural events)
The hosting organization is a little association in the south of France in a village with 250 inhabitants..
The association works since 2008 and proposes activities and animations all the year in a hamlet where is also located a restaurant and the professional school. The purpose is to help people to stay or to come around.

In a convivial space open all the week, the association offers computers and help to use it, a free library, a free shop and lots of information especially about the chestnuts’ culture which is one of the main economic activity in the area. The association makes also training about chestnuts' culture. The exchanges and meetings with young Europeans are part of the actions of the association to build European citizenship and to find new ideas among us.

The members of the association are parts of the community, they are from all ages, most of them live in the area.
The team is composed by 30 activ unpaid members, two employees, Kelian in charge of the environmental actions and Véronique in charge of the animations, the communication and the administration, and two French volunteers (18-25 years old).
The association appreciates to welcome young from others countries to permit exhanges with the inhabitants. Since 2013, every summer a International workcamp of tennagers volounteers is organized.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
The association wishes to have a European volunteer in its team in order to bring additional skills, and a European openness, in particular to the local community that we receive in our structure. Candidates must have basic knowledge of French preferably, and in English also. T
heir motivation, their ability to bring enthusiasm during their interventions, especially with young people and their understanding of pedagogy and contact will be important criteria. Taking initiatives and coming up with new ideas will be highly appreciated.
He must have a driver's license.

Tarefas: The volunteer will take part in cultural and social activities of the association. He/she will have the opportunities to participate and create activities for young people, localised in mountains, south of france.
The aim of the project is to facilitate intercultural exchanges between the volunteers and the local community. As an important social association in support of youth projects, its activities will be to promote this service and to create and run workshops for young people.
You will have also the opportunity to participate like an animator at the youth exchange organised for this Summer 2023! This projects is about an audiovisuel project based on a hike, in the mountains for 2 weeks with spain and italian partners..

Horário: The volunteer's working time will be a maximum of 30 hours per week. The working time of the association is flexible and must be adapted to events (activities and events often at weekends).

Condições: Accommodation will be provided with the volunteer as several roaming possibilities can be offered. The structure is located in the mountains and at high altitude (910m), and far from all amenities and villages. The volunteer will have to plan accordingly to the climate (heat, heavy rains), the equipment adapted to the seasons. The volunteer will receive a monthly allowance of 184 euros
