Resumo: The hosting organization is a non-profit organization and an interdisciplinary platform that aim to improve learning and reorientation to enhance capacity development, transferable skills, and knowledge sharing for sustainable development.
We aim to create sustainable non-formal learning methods to address the root causes of youth and adult social exclusion which on the one side receives inadequate attention and on the other hand is complicit by lack of basic knowledge and lifelong learning opportunities for people of this category. Our objective is to provide pedagogy to instill in our target audience, or practitioners to learn, engage and support their beneficiaries to achieve formalized competencies supported by project-based learning, contextual learning, and outdoor education methods. We also intend to enable further discussion on the use of non-formal education in a multicultural environment such as Europe to contribute to the reduction of social exclusion to reduce the prevalence rate of poverty. Promoting cross-boundary life learning opportunities on projects such as financial literacy education can directly provide tailored skills and knowledge that will shape the economic behavior of an individual in the social and labor market environment. The organization intends to adapt the Frame of Reference methodology as the analytical tool to both our teaching, project design, implementation, and project reporting.
This methodology will enable the European Union and practitioners of non-formal learning to comprehend the relativity of those suffering social exclusion either directly or indirectly to understand its causes, how it negatively affects the socioeconomic environment, why we need to mitigate such gaps with today’s solution.
Also, how those solutions can become a norm as well as further optimize the core target to be achieved with goal 4 of the sustainable development goals. Our experiences are cross-cutting as we have in our midst accomplished interdisciplinary experts, trainers, and sector-based teachers on the topic of vocational educational training, regional cooperation, youth advocate, social entrepreneurs, and knowledge-based experts on intercultural intelligence.
