Resumo: (eco-village)
The Eco Community can be found in a small village. It consists of 10 adults in the village, and 6 children. Most of the members speak English.
The community aims to find an ecologically, socially and economically balanced way of living. It is an aspiring member of GEN Europe, and currently is working on creating the regional network of GEN SEEEN. There is a community owned enterprise where the main activities are bookbinding, art projects, and organizing events.

Perfil: We are welcoming volunteers aged 18-30
- girl
- who enjoy living in the countryside
- who are interested in learning organic gardening, eco-building, and sustainable art
- who commit themselves to act upon sustainability issues on both individual and community level.

Tarefas: - Eco-building project: strawbale building, cob renovation, and plastering
- Taking care of the Community House, and help with some refurbishment
- Gardening: volunteers can have their own garden
- Reforestation project: planting and nurturing trees according to permaculture principles
- Documentation: creating posters, photos and other visual material

Optional activities:
- Creating ecological art
- Trying out community building games and methods
- Practises of self awareness, and connection to nature
- Dance and yoga
- Cooking together

Horário: You will be volunteering 30 hours per week, if weekends are included, off-days will be on weekdays.

Condições: Accommodation:
Volunteers are hosted in the Community House, which includes a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, two separate rooms, and a big garden. The two rooms will accommodate two volunteers each.

Transportation:
Most of the activities will take place in the village, a few minutes away on foot. There are also bicycles at the Community House. There is a good bus connection to the next town.

Allowances:
Volunteers receive 150 EUR pocket money per month. Food and accommodation are provided by the community
