Resumo: (music events)
The hosting organization was founded in 1970 to develop cooperation between national music competitions and facilitate the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and good practice. The central motivation was to organise bi- and multilateral exchanges for young musicians to encourage mutual understanding and cultural awareness among young Europeans. The network has steadily grown since then and, from 1992, has been open to international competitions. The organization currently has around 50 member competitions in 24 European countries and the office is based in Germany.

The criteria for competitions joining EMCY are set out in its Quality Standards, which ensures fairness and helps maintain quality support systems in music education. However, inclusion is important for the organization, and competitions that do not yet meet these criteria are given a special status and aided in their development to meet these standards.

With its projects, the organization develops, supports, and promotes the musical education of young talents in the pre-professional stage, as well as collaborations and exchanges between music competitions for youth on a European level. The organization supports persons up to 25/30 years old, promoting and enabling cultural exchanges for youngsters all over Europe.

Every day at the organization is a challenging experience full of different tasks, this is why we are looking for a fresh and enterprising mind who wants to test himself on many topics. Perfil: Age: 18-30
The volunteer should be a proactive, creative and open person. The knowledge of English is very important and the level required is at least B2. Furthermore, a basic knowledge of German would be valued as a big plus. She/ He should also have great organizational skills, be interested in organising projects, be ready to learn and to collaborate with international partners.
