Resumo: The hosting organization is located in the countryside area, and works closely with the local community.

The hosting organization is a sport kindergarden, which means that we focus on movement and sports for the children on daily basis. We use our big playground every day and go for walks in our local area.

In the kindergarden there are approx 60 children. 40 children in the kindergarden (age 3-6 years) and 20 children in the nursery (age 6 month-3 years)

The hosting organization is located close to the fjord and the North sea, where it is possible to practice wather sports.

In the immediate area there is the opportunity to join different kinds of sports facilities, such as badminton, football, handball, fitness and swimming.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
The hosting organization prefers a volunteer who has a background with child caring. And that the volunteer has the ability to interact with the children in a good and meaningful way. The volunteer should be interested in working with children, and interested in the development of children. The volunteer should be open minded and able to speak English on a conversational level.

Tarefas: In the hosting organization the volunteer will learn how a kindergarten works in a small Danish community. Thus, the volunteer will participate in the activities which are planned, but also have the opportunity to plan other activities for smaller or bigger groups of children.

The hosting organization n appreciates traditions and therefore celebrates birthdays, Christmas, Easter etc. Thus, the volunteer gets a great insight in the Danish traditions celebrated in a kindergarten.

The volunteer will have a supervisor in the kindergarten, but he or she will also be a part of the regular staff.

Horário: Working hours: 30-38 hours/week

All volunteers save up to 2 holidays every month.

Condições: The volunteer will either stay with a local Danish host family.

In the host families the volunteer will be expected to become part of the family and as such take part in the activities and responsibilities in the family. The volunteer will have his/her three meals provided by the host family. Transport to and from home to the project is covered by the programme.

International transport is covered to a certain amount. The EU sets a budget depending on the distance to our office. If you travel in a green way your budget will be higher!

Food and accommodation
Allowance/pocket money: 220 euro in total: 180 euro (decided by the department of the EU) + 40 euro from the local department.
Transportation covered: from home to project and from home to language school (if chosen).
