The volunteer needs to have interests for educational and awareness activities about sustainability and solidarity and we need flexibility and availability to carry out different tasks,

In this project the Spanish level can be an important factor to make an integration process easiest but we don't ask for any specific level.

Tarefas: the volunteer will be involved in educational activities with children, school support tasks, office work and/or project management. He/She will be involved in Spanish classes for people with immigrant backgrounds.

Educational and Awareness. The volunteer in this area will be involved in the organization and implementation of several courses, workshops and events with the target to promote sustainability and solidarity values. He/She will be responsible for the preparation of equipment for participants, communicating with them and welcoming them on arrival, preparing classrooms and guided tours of the many exhibitions. The volunteer will be directly involved in thesolidarity workshops and in the daily organization of
the centre. The main activities are aimed at pupils of Primary and Secondary Schools, as well as, groups of all ages belonging to associations or other groups and the province seek to contribute to the education of the students, through knowledge and the promotion of solidarity values, thus awakening attitudes of tolerance, respect and peaceful coexistence.

Social Action. In this area, the volunteer will participate actively in carrying out a variety of daily activities to support the migrant population who are in more precarious situations, promoting their rights and contributing to their social, professional and cultural integration in the city and to enjoy a respectable life. The organization, with his team of volunteers and in collaboration with other organizations, carries out various activities in several spheres. The mainactivity will be to attend the Primary and High school support for children of immigrants in the afternoon. Also it will be possible to promote the immigrant's leisure time. Basically the volunteer will actively promote the organization of events and social activities, such as The Cafetín served twice a day during the Spanish classes, indoor soccer games, guided tours to nearby cities, celebrations, etc.

Project management and promotion of local and international volunteering. The volunteer in this area will be involved in the promotion, organization and realization of trade fairs and charity events, exhibitions and raffles promoted by the rganization; for planning and carrying out educational activities with children; and in the preparation, participation and delivery of lectures about local and international volunteering opportunities, as well as, the work that The organization is carrying out in Latin America through our own projects. Another important contribution of the volunteers will be to support the office (project management, mailings, computer maintenance,photo file management, database management, etc.) and warehouse management (organization of existing materials, installation and removal of exhibits and the warehouse maintenance). The office activities, also, include tasks connected with the communication, such as writing articles for newspapers, magazines, newsletters, updating our social networks and improving our website, sending emails to disseminate initiatives and events. The volunteers will have greater freedom to design and suggest new volunteering and co-operation projects, promoting their ideas and receiving support from the team.

Anyway, in all areas the volunteer will have the opportunity to develop his own personal project, contributing with their ideas and experiences to improve the activities. Certainly, this space will grow proportionally with the months, during which, the volunteers will take part in language training to facilitate the communication inside and outside of the organization. Language training program will be conducted in collaboration with other organization and will be integrated with the Online Linguistic Support offered from the program. It will form a regular part of the service and will consist of Spanish language classes, designed and adapted for foreigners (immigrants). The multiculturalism of classes will develop, improve and strengthen the language skills of every user, thus encouraging active participation.
