Resumo: (youth centre)
The hosting organization is a non-governmental organisation founded in 2005. The aim of the organisation is to encourage and develop creative and social potential of children, youth and adults. Our main target group are young people aged 15-30. The main topics of our activities are – non-formal education, youth information, leisure activities, youth mobility and volunteering. Our main projects are Youth Club/Youth Centre, YouthInformation Centre, Volunteer Centre and youth mobility projects.

Youth Centre is a place of non-formal education and leisure activities for young people. Throughout the year we organise in the Youth Centre various activities – art and creative workshops, art exhibitions, IT workshops, foreign languages lessons, social and pedagogical workshops, job skills development workshops. Through Youth Information Centre we provide to young people information about all issues related to young people (e.g. education, employment, health, culture, mobility).

Perfil: Our main target group is young people aged 15-30. The main topics of our activities are non-formal education, youth information, leisure activities, youth mobility and volunteering, so we will be looking for a responsible and motivated person that is 18+ until 30, willing to learn, open to creativity, to have some initiative and to have their own ideas on how to contribute to the Youth center. Previous knowledge is not a necessity, but knowing how to use Photoshop and how to edit videos would be a plus.

Tarefas: Youth center activities - interests and needs of youth in the local community - volunteers task will be: preparing and conducting activities/workshops based on their own interests and interests of local youth.
For example: foreign language courses, application support for ESC, volunteering or digital competences workshops and various creative, recycling and DIY workshops. Also, participating in organisation's events and festival. Info Center activities - volunteers task will be: creating promotional and informational videos, podcast about youth participation in democratic processes, empowering them to be become active in their communities and participation in Eurodesk campaign. Activity for inclusion – volunteers task will be: spending time with children of immigrant families in our local community, playing educational games, or conducting workshops that are empowering their soft skills, such as digital competence skills etc.

Condições: Volunteer will be accommodated in a fully equipped flat with two more volunteer. You will be living in a three room flat. You will all have individual rooms. The flat is fully equipped with all necessary facilities (Internet, kitchen, bathroom, heating, hot water, furniture, linen, dishes, etc.)
Travel costs of the volunteer from to Croatia and back will be reimbursed to a maximum of 275 euros in accordance with the European Commission distance calculator and European Solidarity Corps Program Guide.
