Resumo: (environment)
The environmental association was founded on 15 December 2004 with the aim of environmental preservation and protection. The fundamental scope of its activity is the promotion of natural specific qualities of the town and its surroundings, as well as the source and course of the River. The association's projects have made contribution in creating a positive image by public, civil and private sectors and media. The organization has become an equal partner in decision making in relation to the environmental protection and sustainable development. The main target group is the general population of citizens, with a focus on children and youth.

Perfil: All young people from aged between 18 and 30 years with strong motivation, willingness to see and to do something new, curiosity about the world and other cultures.

Tarefas: This project is focused on environmental protection, sustainable community development and solidarity. The volunteers involved will give a real contribute to the community development thanks to their support of the activities, such as, organising various workshops/events, environmental and solidarity activities, promoting their culture, ESC mobility opportunities and EU values. During the mobility, the volunteers will have the opportunity to design their own personal project, assist in writing/ implementing smaller project proposal in NEDS field. The volunteers will also support of the activities of the local Eco- library and have the opportunity to provide information among
young people during information campaigns in the local Institutions and other cities.

The project is an European Solidarity Corps - volunteering project. The project is aiming to enable young people volunteering through European Solidarity Corps program and provide them with a unique opportunity for non-formal/informal learning that enhance the professional skills and competences of participants in order to become more interesting to potential employers. The activities will provide opportunities for the young volunteers to gain experience working in a team, learn to solve tasks with whom they are faced during their volunteering
experience using different methods, to extend their knowledge about relevant issues regarding useful spending of leisure time of young people, improve their language skills and that on the completion of their period of project to become an example of good practice in their communities and encourage others to actively volunteering.

• assistance in the organization and implementation of various workshops and seminars for citizens that aim to contributeto the promotion and development of environmental awareness, sustainable community development and solidarity;

• independent organization and implementation of workshops with the aim of changing values and behavior andencouraging active participation in the protection of the environment and nature, promotion of volunteering, learningforeign languages, etc.

• implementation of personal projects in accordance with the interests of volunteers;

• assisting in the organization and participation in the implementation of various environmental cleaning actions;

• assistance in organizing local community events (voluntary actions) connected to environmental awareness;

• assistance in writing, applying and implementing smaller local / national project proposals in NEDS field;

• implementing activities in the Eco-toy library of the association;

• assistance in the administration and management of social networks of the association and independent managementand administration of social networks of the project and promotion of project activities (making blog, making database,make records, work with videos, taking interviews, editing interviews, filming, making and editing videos, uploading oninternet, publishing on webpage, blog etc.);

• actively participate in organization implemented information campaigns in Knin and schools in other cities of the county, participating in presentations and informing young people about the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+, the opportunities and benefits, as well as promoting European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus + programs and

• administrative tasks related to the project.

Condições: Technical support - Supervision + Weekly meeting in the hosting organization + non-formal education

Financial support - Pocket money - (150€ per month) + Food support (150€ per month); For the volunteers to feel more independent a bank account will be created after their arrival. At every month, the volunteer will receive pocked money and food allowance, to arrange their own meals during the project duration.

Accomodation: is provided by hosting organisation.

Trainings : Pre-departure training provided by Sending organisation; On-arrival and mid-term training provided by the Croatian National Agency (accommodation and travel expanses for participation on training is covered by the National Agency);

Language support- EU Academy- online linguistic support to learn Croatian

Mentoring – Mandatory mentoring session every week, support in learning process, integration into the local community;

Insurance: Volunteers will be registered in Cigna Insurance before coming in Croatia. CIGNA Assistance insurance works all the ESC period 24h a day in all the world, starting from the day when the volunteer is going to his project place and 2 more month after the end of the project.
