Resumo: (environment)
The hosting organization created in 2018 by teachers who want to play an active role in local initiatives concerning important social issues. Our aim is to organize actions related to education, environment and sustainability using non-formal education, with the help of local societies, Erasmus + and the European Solidarity Corps.

We believe that life finds meaning only with responsibility, cooperation, solidarity and love. YAM has been active in the field of sustainable mobility, nature and education since its inception. On our page you can find opportunities for youth exchanges and volunteering throughout Europe but also in Greece.
Perfil: -18-30 years old (not older than 31 on the 1st of April 2022)
-Legal resident of one of the Erasmus+ programme countries + does not require a visa to enter Greece
-Eager to learn or already have the knowledge or experience with the thematic of the project
-Enthusiastic with hands-on activities.
-Eager to take initiatives and create opportunities for themselves and society.
-Ready to live in a rural environment with basic conditions for 5 months.
-Ready to be challenged into aligning together with people from different cultures into making together
a sustainable community.
-People with a clear plan and vision regarding their participation in the project and beyond.
-Extreme priority will be given to those that are facing or faced any kind of troubles in life
-There are several requirements from the program itself and a profile that we would like to focus on.
It is a bonus if you have media skills such as photography and filmmaking for documenting this whole experience but also support Yamochori and Youth Active Minds activities, digital marketing and promotions.

MAIN OBJECTIVES(50%):
- Participation in the organization, design and implementation of main infrastructure of our farm which contain
woodwork, natural building, traditional methods with stones, drywalls and a lot of DIY.
- Participation in the organization, planning and implementation of the permaculture design of our farm which
contain water management, regenerative agriculture, food forest and renewable source of energy
- Participation in cooking activities, techniques or agriculture that we offer to the local community.
- Participation in English language learning activities for village children from families with economic problems.
- Participation in the management of social media and the site of the organization, mainly by creating a photo
material and video
YOUR PERSONAL PROJECT(30%):
Every volunteer after the first weeks has to propose a personal project in one of the previous objectives.
EVERYDAY TASKS(20%):
We split the everyday tasks, such us watering the gardens, cleaning, maintenance of things to each volunteer.
- Support for other projects (youth exchanges, vollunters from workaway/Woof and local actions).
