Resumo: (youth centre)
The hosting organization was born out of our need to give to young people the desire to grow nicely and to develop beautiful things, to learn the best of what others did and to teach others what we know better. Our vision is that of a better Romania in which young people are valued. That is why, through everything we do, we promote non-formal learning and volunteering as a way of personal development for young people.

Each year comes with many challenges, both locally and regionally, as well as internationally. Thus our work is adapting to young people needs. Besides our own projects, we are also involved in the Together for Ilfov initiative, whose purpose is to develop the County through non-formal education programs developed in partnership with the active NGOs in the county. We are also part of the Youth Affairs Council conducted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the VOLUME Federation.

Perfil: We are looking for volunteers aged between 18 and 30 years, who are actively involved in a NGO in their country, and who have worked with young people or children at least once. We value result orientated, ambitious youngsters, willing to develop themselves and meet the following criteria:

- To be an European Union resident
- To have finished secondary school or equivalent
- To be unemployed at the time of selection

The selected volunteers should be interested in the topic of the project and willing to:

- Promote the values of the European Union in the community where the activity will be held;
- Promote volunteering and its benefits for young people;
- Get involved in promoting non-formal learning with the children/youngsters from the community;
- Work with school and high school youngsters;
- Share their experience and skills with others;
- Have some experience and skills in the social field and in the work with children and youngsters;
- Contribute to the development of future projects;
- Contribute to the development of the online Youth Centre;
- Contribute to the development of the Youth Centre;
- Adapt within a community where another language is spoken;
- Be interested to learn Romanian language (the local language);
- Be strongly motivated to make a positive change in their own local community (upon returning home at the end of this ESC project);
- Be passionate about editing videos, audio files and pictures and willing to learn even more about it;
- Be interested in learning how to create podcasts.

They need to be willing to integrate in the community from the rural area, a community where the leisure activities are less numerous than in other big cities from Romania.

Tarefas: The 4 volunteers will create, organise and implement the following activities:

1. Educational activities:
- set up a non-formal club that will run activities in 2 schools and 1 high school in the community (non-formal
- learning activities, human rights, citizen rights, etc.);
- organise and implement the non-formal learning activities in the Youth Centre (outdoor and indoor activities), together with the local volunteers;
- organise international evenings during the project, with the aim of promoting different cultural values from the volunteers’ origin countries;

2. Content creation:
- set up an online Youth Centre where we will develop online lessons, articles and videos on topics such as volunteering, cultural diversity, but also uploading materials that capture the experience of volunteers in the community;
- update the website, Facebook and Instagram pages (editing pictures and videos and uploading them);

3. Administrative activities:
- initiate, start and deploy new projects based on the needs of children and youngsters from Snagov community and from the communities in which our partners are involved;
- participate in the meetings (one time per week);
- promote the project, the association and our activities within the community;
- create posts and articles that will be uploaded to the website, Facebook and Instagram pages;
